One of the highlights of every classical Viennese ball is the traditional opening ceremony. At the Johann Strauss Ball, the splendid opening is celebrated by enchanting dancers, officially marking the beginning of the evening. The dancers are accompanied by the renowned Salon Orchestra "Alt Wien", known for its unique interpretation of classical Viennese music during global tours.

In our Viennese Waltz workshop, you'll discover the charm of the Viennese Waltz. Under professional guidance, you can perfect your dance steps and enjoy a cheerful atmosphere.
Originally considered vulgar, the Viennese Waltz has evolved over time, thanks to renowned composers such as Franz Schubert and Johann Strauss, into a popular dance. Today, it is an integral part of elegant events in Vienna and globally one of the most beloved dances.

Waltz Workshop
At midnight, you can showcase your talent on the dance floor with the traditional Quadrille. The midnight Quadrille has always been an integral part of Viennese ball culture. The individual steps are announced sequentially, allowing you to join other ball guests in a dynamic dance on the parquet floor in a humorous atmosphere. Don't miss this year's midnight performance!

As is customary at every Viennese ball, the Johann Strauss Ball ensures that lively celebration to the best modern hits from the 80s, 90s, and today is not overlooked. After the standard dance workshop, it's time to dance spiritedly through the night.
